Expressing gratitude for the birthday wishes, Silvia’s Instagram post mentioned the family’s three-week-long struggle with illness, stating that they are finally feeling better.
TMZ, the first to report the news, indicated that Gere’s illness initially manifested as a severe cough, leading him to seek medical care. He spent a night at the hospital and was discharged the next morning, with doctors prescribing antibiotics to aid in his recovery.
