Clint Eastwood’s wife Dina has filed for divorce after 17 years of marriage, according to reports.

The pair split in August but Dina, 48, insisted that they were remaining close.

The couple have reportedly had a turbulent relationship over the last year, following Dina’s admission to rehab for anxiety in April.

The reality star and former TV presenter initially filed for legal separation last month but withdrew that request. However, she filed the divorce papers on Monday at Monterey County Superior Court in Carmel, California.

The pair married in March 1996 and had daughter Morgan nine months later.

Dina is now said to be filing for sole custody of 16-year-old Morgan, with 83-year-old Clint to pay parental support.

Dina, Morgan and stepdaughter Francesca Fisher-Eastwood starred in reality TV show Mrs. Eastwood & Company last year, propelling them into the public eye.

Francesca, 20, is Eastwood’s daughter from his relationship with Titanic actress Frances Fisher.

His marriage to Dina fell short of his previous 31-year stint with Maggie Johnson.

And it’s not just Eastwood senior that has a dirty side, his sex appeal has been passed down to his son Scott who was reportedly in the running for the lead role in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

Those rumours were quashed today however when Irish actor Jamie Dornan was confirmed to play the mysterious and sexy Christian Grey.
