The ‘Back to the Future’ actor’s daughter Schuyler Fox tied the knot over the weekend in the Catskill Mountains on June 22
Michael J. Fox’s daughter Schuyler recently got married! The 29-year-old producer tied the knot with her longtime partner on Saturday, June 22, coinciding with her mother Tracy Pollan’s 64th birthday. The celebration took place in the picturesque Catskill Mountains in New York.
An onlooker shared that the weather was perfect despite the heat wave, and the event at Hayfield Catskills, a luxury wedding venue, resembled a picture-perfect garden party. The family appeared to be adorable and gentle, enjoying their special day under a tent.
The wedding saw several notable guests, including Ali Wentworth, George Stephanopoulos, and actress Jennifer Grey. According to another source, guests stayed at the Bluebird Hunter Lodge, a cozy, rustic boutique hotel, where the bride and groom also hosted pre-wedding events.
Attendees also stayed at the popular Scribner’s Catskill Lodge, known for hosting famous guests such as Olivia Wilde and Rami Malek, with views overlooking Hunter Mountain.
During the celebratory weekend, Michael J. Fox took to Instagram to pay tribute to his wife of 36 years, Tracy Pollan, marking her 64th birthday on Saturday.
“In every beautiful way, it’s beautiful Tracy’s beautiful day,” the actor captioned his post. “I love you and today will be magnificent. Always forever your Mike with so much love. Happy birthday. It’s gonna be an epic day.❤️.”
Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan are also parents to son Sam, 35, and daughters Aquinnah, 29, and Esmé, 22.
In an interview with PEOPLE in April, Fox hinted at Schuyler’s upcoming nuptials.
“There have been a lot of challenges. A lot of physical challenges these days have been different bits, but just that I had a lot of stuff… I had a movie, a documentary, and a lot of obligations. A lot of effort has been put into stuff. And so it was a tough year, but a good year, with each of the challenges that came up,” Fox said at the Michael J. Fox Foundation’s “A Country Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s” event. (Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 1991 and revealed his diagnosis to PEOPLE in 1998.) “And with the help of family and the people I work with, I’ve been able to meet those challenges, go beyond them, and do new things. The whole thing is to keep having new experiences, whether it’s pushing forward what we’re trying to do with our foundation or just enjoying life. My daughter’s getting married, too… good things are happening, and life is good. So it’s been a good year, for sure.”
